4t of July

My son came home from church with this. Yeah, his nursery teacher rocks. She's a grandma.
If you were with me on the 3rd of July, you would have been able to enjoy these. They were so good! And so pretty. We got together with friends to feast and celebrate the birth of our nation. I love the 4th of July and being reminded that I live in the greatest country in the world. Despite what is going on politically in our nation, it's still better than anywhere else. I traveled to Ecuador for a few months many years ago, and I remember getting off the plane, knowing I was back in this blessed land and crying tears of gratitude for being able to live here. My younger brother is on a mission right now in Peru and his letters always remind me to be grateful for that blessing, because it's easy to forget sometimes.

My baby crawls and is loving it! She loves being able to go and do and get and taste so many new things. She thinks she's going to go down this step in the picture. Not there yet, my dear.
Anyone see the resemblance? Also, she's only eating the dip. She may look like daddy, but she's definitely mine.

Cute pictures! We had to get on and look at your blog today because Ashton randomly started talking about the Kangaroo Zoo with Gabriel and Claire. He still remembers. He is excited to come back and play!

Ummm. . . that last picture is totally hilarious. Gabriel is so lucky to have a nursery teacher who isn't just a babysitter.
