My Lofty Goals

When I finished school in April, I was so excited to have 2 whole months to get ready for this baby. As one would guess, I spent more time cleaning my house and taking naps than doing things like cleaning out the basement, cleaning out the garage, making a blessing dress.
But this week I knew I would have to make the dress because I would most definitely not be making it after the baby was born. So I stayed up past midnight most of this past week, but I finished it! I'm so proud. Not only because I haven't sewn in a millenium, but because I didn't even have to take out any seams and redo them.
We're ready for the baby now! I like this whole scheduling thing. My house is clean, there are meals ready, amazing and generous neighbors taking Gabriel on different days. I can deal with this.
We'll see you tomorrow, little lady:)

Oh its so beautiful!!!
I hope all goes well tomorrow!!
I don't know if I would like knowing when the baby would come. It would make me nervous for "the day"
I would much rather not know when that day will come.........
Love ya!!

We're so excited for a baby girl! I keep telling Bridget that she's getting a girl cousin - the kind who can wear dresses. What? She probably thinks all babies are boys. :) See you tomorrow!

The dress looks amazing. Great job.
