Day Out With Thomas

Today my friend Crystal and I took our kids to see Thomas in Heber City. As we loaded onto the train, there was no sign of Thomas and the kids all said "This doesn't look like Thomas", so we told them we were riding on Annie or Clarabell. The train went really slow and the scenery wasn't much more than fields and some houses, so the excitement was somewhat low. Try getting a good picture of these 3. The Island of Sodor was not as fascinating as it claimed it would be, either. There was no sign of Sir Topam Hat, but they had ponies, so it made up for it. Gabriel didn't scream when I told him to touch the ponies, unlike some other very scared children.

It was fun to go to Heber. I wouldn't recommend this event to anyone, though.

Good to know. I felt like I was depriving Emmett by not being in Utah for that event. Now I feel better! Too bad for Gabriel though. :(

I think Nathan would have loved it no matter how bad it was. He LOVES Thomas!!
