I still remember the first time I ever saw him. It was in Quito, Ecuador at a church that we went to to watch General Confrence. The girls from my OSSO group and the missionaries were all in the room with English confrence. Elder Martinez was sitting directly in front of me on a soft chair, and he turned around to ask me if anyone in my group had back problems, because they could have his chair if they did. From then on he was My Boyfriend Elder Martinez. Thinking I would never see him again, you can imagine my surprise when he ran up to me at a single adult dance in Raleigh and said "YOU! I know you!" Four months later we were married. I'm sorry to those of you we scared with our haste, but we've seen the guidance of the Lord so much in our lives and are so grateful to be together.So happy anniversary to us! We're off to LA again to remember where it all began, then to Hawaii!!!!

you didn't have to include the birthday wish, but it is sweet. that is still my favorite birthday moment seeing almost all of my relatives in the temple at the same time.
