Potty Training: Day 1
Potty training has commenced. So far it has not been the worste day of my life, as I thought it would be. I was tempted to quit after 3 accidents that Gabriel didn't care about, but after a few more he reacted better and actually got some in the potty!
We got through 13 of our 14 pairs of underwear by 1:00 p.m.. And now he's asleep with underwear on, giving me a moment to wash all the underwear and psychologically prepare for the afternoon. The best part is that he was carrying around a New Moon chocolate candy all morning, begging me to open it. David filled my stocking with them as a joke because I go crazy whenever I see them at the store (I think it's lame: Never make candy out of Twilight characters). I was so proud when he got it in the potty that he got to open his Bella Chocolate. Just 2.5 more days of this! (After that I'm willing to leave the house with him.)

It is to laugh - 2.5 more days indeed. I remember thinking seven pairs of underpants would be enough. Hahahaha!
Tell Gabriel we're rooting for him. If only to rid the world of Twilight chocolates.
2.5 days? What the? Did you mean to say months? It's going to be SO AWESOME once he's out of diapers! You can (both) do it! Go team!
Do Twilight chocolates taste like self-loathing?
Patience with potty training is when you secure your place in heaven next to the diet coke or chocolate. You'll make it! I'm so excited for you.
I will be with you in the near future. I always dread the accident stage.
Good luck!!!
P.S. Does that boy EVER wear pants. He is totally cute without them......just wondering. ;)
yeesh! 13 pairs of underpants in a day... I think we only own three! How is it going now? I'm with you in spirit!!!!
